Beta: Smart Voicemail is a beta feature and may change.
Smart Voicemail is on by default for every virtual number on your account. You can disable it per number. For an overview, see Smart Voicemail: what it is and how it helps.
Turn Smart Voicemail off for a number
- Log in at portal.everreach.co.uk
- Open Reception and click into the virtual number you want to change
- Open the Advanced tab
- Set Smart Voicemail to Disabled
- Click Save Changes
Turn it back on the same way. The setting only applies to new voicemails received after the change — existing messages keep their transcripts and categories.
What changes when Smart Voicemail is off
With Smart Voicemail off for a number:
- New voicemails on that number won't have a transcript, summary, suggested action, caller name, or category
- The Caller and Category columns in the Inbox show a dash for those rows
- Audio recording and voicemail-to-email notifications are unaffected
The setting is per-number — other numbers on your account are unaffected. For details on categories, see Smart Voicemail categories.
